NoteMesh, Collaborate to graduate

All the persons who have been college students know about gathering information from multiple sources, organize it, review it, share it, etc. It's not an easy or nice task sometimes. NoteMesh is a completely free service based on the idea of taking good notes will help to have a successful college career.

NoteMesh work as a collaborative service where all the students participate to create better lecture notes of a particular class. A Wiki will be created for each class, so all the students will be able to edit, add or correct information.

It has several nice features as a profile page, search, tracking of changes and as I mentioned before... It's free! I think It's worthwhile to give a try.

DailyBooth, your life in pictures

In the growing world of social networking and Web 2.0 is not weird to find any kind of online service to satisfy the wide variety of Web Surfers. Following that tendendy, I'd like to introduce DailyBooth today.

This service is about documenting your life by uploading photographs and then sharing them with the community. You can follow persons or be followed by them, just like Twitter. A little narcissistic? Maybe but it's also a good opportunity to register how you looked in a specific time, start a artistic project, keep updated your family and/or friends, meet people, etc.

As the most of the Web 2.0 service is neat and simple to use. Come on! Register and start uploading your daily life!

Read Print: Free Books Online

I recently found out a website with many FREE books. If you are a literature lover then you will probably enjoy this web site. It's call "Read Print" and they define themselves as a:

Free online books library for students, teachers, and the classic enthusiast.

Absolutely FREE online books
Thousands of novels, poems, stories
Easy to read books online

WARNING — The surgeon general reports that having these many free books at your disposal can be highly addictive.

They claim to have "Over 8,000 online books by 3,500 authors at your fingertips!". It's worthwhile to surf this site when getting a chance. Who knows, maybe get that book you have been looking for since a loooong time ago :)

How about this classic: http://www.readprint.com/work-1296/The-Raven-Edgar-Allan-Poe

Pagebin: a service to share text

When you think of a "minimalist" web service, you can think of Pagebin. Thanks to this website you can share text or notes with your contacts. This is not surprising considering all the Web 2.0 stuff and social networking nowadays. However, this interesting service lets you share a note which can expire in one day, week, month or year. You can even decide if your note will be password protected. The service also lets you enter RTF (Rich Text Format) text which can be a nice feature :)

Try it by entering this password 123 and you will able to read my secret message ;)

SoftwareQuotes.com - Quotations from the World of Programming

SoftwareQuotes.com is a great place to look for quotes related (but not limited) to computer programming. You will be able to find many famous quotes as well as bored. However, there are painfully accurate quotes :D

As a matter of fact, here are some "funny" quotes:

"The Internet? We are not interested in it." - Bill Gates

"Real men don't use backups, they post their stuff on a public ftp server and let the rest of the world make copies." - Linus Torvalds

"Sometimes it pays to stay in bed on Monday, rather than spending the rest of the week debugging Monday's code." - Christopher Thompson

"It's OK to figure out murder mysteries, but you shouldn't need to figure out code. You should be able to read it." - Steve C. McConnell
